🎢 Just Back From a Magical Adventure!
We’re just back after 3 days in Paris and 2 in Disneyland—completely exhausted but absolutely buzzing!
Even my husband, who was sceptical before we went, fell in love with Disneyland Paris and is already dreaming up our next trip. 🥰
🛡️ Top Tips & Must-Knows
Watch Out for Pickpockets!
⚠️ Pickpockets are common outside Disneyland and on the RER, especially from Val d’Europe. They even tried with us, but we spotted them—so keep your wits about you!
Buying a few bits in advance can save a small fortune in the parks — especially outfits, ears, autograph books and kid-friendly extras 👇
🍽️ How We Ate (and Saved Money!)
- Bring snacks or a packed lunch 🥪 for daytime munching, then splash out on Mickey-shaped treats and sweets.
- We did just one main restaurant meal each day.
- Rainforest Café was a winner—beautiful theming and really tasty food (better than the London one!).
Dinner for four was about £100. 💷
💡 This is exactly why it helps to plan a rough food budget before you go 👉 see more Disneyland Paris budget tips
🗺️ Plan Your Route!
- Do one area at a time—there’s a lot of walking between lands! 🚶♀️🚶♂️
- Buy princess/character outfits and Minnie ears before you go. Shops in the parks are pricey! 🎀

👟 Comfy Shoes & Buggies FTW
You’ll be on your feet all day—comfortable shoes are a MUST! 👟
We used two buggies, even for our 6-year-old, and they were lifesavers. The park is super accessible and there’s buggy parking everywhere. 🚼

📸 Magical Moments: Characters & Rides
- Try to do at least one character meet & greet—the queues can be long, but the characters make it so special.
(Top tip: I left my husband in the queue and took the girls on rides. Bless him! 😅) - Best rides for us:

⏰ Queue Like a Pro
- Best time to ride? After 7pm! Queues were much shorter and we dashed from one ride to the next.
- Power bank alert! 🔋 You’ll take LOADS of photos and videos. We didn’t see any charging points in the park—our power bank saved the day.

🎆 Don’t Miss the Shine Brighter Show!
- The Shine Brighter show is a must-see—we actually preferred it to the parade!
- Best viewing spot: To the side of the two front stages for a great view. ✨
💡 Final Thoughts & Family Highlights
- Don’t stress about sticking to a plan—go with the flow and enjoy every single minute. The days absolutely fly by!
- We were a family of four (kids aged 6 & 3) and made magical memories we’ll never forget.
