Weβre back from an amazing 4 nights and 5 days at Disneyland Paris! We travelled via Eurostar with our three girls, aged 16, 12 and 5.
We stayed at the Disney Newport Bay Hotel, which was lovely, and the pool was sooo welcome because it was absolutely boiling!
We had a Half Board Plus meal plan. I booked our dining as soon as I linked the booking to the app, and thankfully managed to get the main restaurant we really wanted.
Princess Dining at Auberge de Cendrillon πβ¨
We paid the extra to do princess dining at Auberge de Cendrillon, and honestly, this was the highlight of our whole trip.
It was truly magical for all of us, especially my 5-year-old. If you can possibly make this work in your budget, Iβd really recommend it.

π‘ If youβre planning a special family trip, this is worth a look π special occasions at Disneyland Paris
π‘ Buy a few Disney bits before you go
Things like Minnie ears, Disney outfits and little extras are often much cheaper before your trip than inside the parks π
Our Disneyland Paris Tips π‘
Save your receipts for tax back.
Go to the Mickey case stand in World of Disney and theyβll process the receipts. Then take them to the kiosk at the Eurostar station when you leave and you can receive your tax refund back to your card.
We got Β£40 back, which was a nice little bonus.

Blue Light Card holders:
If you book with WDTC, you can get 5% off. I didnβt realise this until afterwards, but I called them and they refunded me Β£266!
Take comfy shoes.
The amount of walking is honestly insane.
π‘ Trust me, this matters more than you think π best shoes for Disneyland Paris
Buy Disney merch before you go.
It adds to the atmosphere, and Minnie ears were much cheaper online than in the park shops.

Buy water and fizzy drinks outside the park.
We found them around β¬1 cheaper from the supermarket outside the train station.
The app timings arenβt perfect.
Theyβre not always accurate for attractions and characters, but they do give you a rough idea.
Get to the shows early.
Queues build up long before the start times.
Tower of Terror stayed open late.
Even though the park closed at 9pm, the Tower of Terror was open until 11pm and the queue was only about 15 minutes after 9!

Watch Illuminations.
The castle light show was absolutely breathtaking. You really must see it.

Take a pushchair if youβre even slightly unsure.
I took one for my almost 6-year-old and it was an absolute godsend.
Final Thoughts β€οΈ
Have the best time. This trip gave us so many lovely family memories and weβd do it all again in a heartbeat.
