Disney Sequoia Lodge Refurbishment 2027: New Rooms Revealed & Booking Information

Disneyland Paris has revealed the first look at the newly refurbished rooms coming to Disney Sequoia Lodge — and they look very different from the rooms guests know today.

The cosy woodland theme is staying, but the rooms are being completely redesigned with modern bathrooms, new furniture and subtle references to Disney classics including Bambi, Pocahontas and Brave.

Bookings for the first refurbished rooms are expected to open from mid-September 2026, with wider refurbishment work continuing into 2027.

Disney Sequoia Lodge is receiving a major update designed to modernise the rooms while keeping the peaceful, outdoorsy atmosphere that makes the hotel so popular.

The new rooms have a warm, woodland lodge style rather than lots of bright character artwork. Disney references are worked into the design through animal silhouettes, forest details and carefully chosen decorations.

It feels more grown-up than some of the other Disney Hotels, but there is still plenty for children to spot.

The colour scheme uses warm brown wood, cream bedding and dark green or blue-grey curtains, creating a calm place to return to after a busy day in the parks.

🌲 Our First Impressions of the New Rooms

Based on the first photographs, the refurbishment looks like a big improvement.

The existing Sequoia Lodge rooms have plenty of charm, but many guests felt they were beginning to look dated compared with the refurbished rooms at other Disneyland Paris Hotels.

The new design feels brighter, cleaner and more comfortable while still fitting the hotel’s wilderness theme.

We particularly like the subtle approach to the Disney characters. There is enough for children to discover without the room feeling overly themed or cluttered.
