Disneyland Paris offers many Sports & Leisure activities to keep you occupied outside of the normal Rides & characters inside the parks. From Tennis to Golf or even going to see some wild animals up close, you can rest assured it is covered on your magical trip to Disneyland Paris. Check out the range of Sports & Leisure activities below and see where you can mix up your holiday to get a little “me” time squeezed in!
Golf at Disneyland Paris
Have a swinging time at Golf Disneyland golf course which is open 7 days a week. This is a unique “course” which is actually 3 courses of 9 holes which can be played in any combination to create your own 18 hole course. There is also a Golf Pro who can give you private tuition or play an accompanied round with you giving guidance throughout. After your round you can relax & have a meal in the Fully licensed Bar & restaurant in the clubhouse. You can also freshen up in the changing rooms & showers. The prices vary each season & you can call for prices on the Disneyland Paris website. If you have a Magic Plus or Infinity Annual Pass then you qualify for 10% discount.
Big Cats Park – Parc des Felins
If you don’t mind travelling a little then there is a world of adventure just 25km for Disneyland Paris in the shape of Parc des Felins (Big Cats Park). As the name suggests, this wildlife park is full of some of the most exotic big cats in the world with Lions, Jaguars, Leopards, Panthers & many more. The park contains over 140 animals in a 60 hectare area. They are committed to breeding & conservation of these animals. You can stroll around at your leisure & then take a train around before you head in to the amazing 4d theatre for an immersive show. The cost is approx. €19 adult & €11 kids with under 3s FREE. You can find vouchers in your hotel lobby on brochures.
Pony Rides at Hotel Cheyenne
This is the perfect Sports & Leisure activity for your children. Situated at Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne in Disneyland Paris you can take your kids on a short Pony Ride with fully qualified instructors & a calm, trustworthy steed! With the delightful Wild West theming of the Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne area this really will make your little ones feel like they are in their very own cowboy or cowgirl movie. The pony rides are seasonal (usually Apr-Sep) and the cost is approximately 6 Euro per ride. This service is open to anyone and you do not have to be a guest at Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne to take part. Simply ask in the Hotel Reception and they will alert you to the details of having your very own Pony Ride in the Wild West!
Anyone for Tennis?
For those of you who love relaxing with a spot of Tennis then you can now play right inside Disneyland Paris at Disney’s Hotel New York : Art of Marvel. Disney Hotel guests can hire Racquets from the Concierge and also buy a few Tennis Balls too! There are 2 Tennis Courts which are open between 7am-10pm depending on the season. At this 4 star hotel you can expect a well maintained court and the best equipment to play with….. or you can bring your own! It’s the perfect way to spend a few hours in between all the hectic life Disney parks have to offer and then you can finish off with a Sauna or swim in the Hotel pool!
Sea Life Centre Val d’Europe
Val d’Europe is just one stop away on the RER train or a 5 minute taxi ride at about €5-10 return. They have a massive shopping mall inside which is the Aquarium Sea Life Centre of Val d’Europe. Before you go make sure you ask in your hotel for a sea Life booklet as they will have money off discount coupons inside. It is open Sun-Fri 10am-6:30pm & on Saturdays it’s open 10am-9pm. The price as of 2016 is approx. €17 adult & €13 child with under 3s FREE. You can save money booking online or with a discount voucher from the hotels. It’s a great way to spend a couple of hours & there are plenty of shopping opportunities in the mall or the Designer Outlet village across the street.
