We squeezed so many magical moments into five days! Here are some of our favourite memories—from princess hugs to parade sparkle.
A little prep goes a long way — from outfits to decorations and surprises 👇
Our Five Days of Disney Magic 🏰
Just landed back from an epic 5-day, 4-night adventure—and honestly, the Disney blues are SO real 😭. Me and my bestie went for our (slightly belated) 30th birthdays in September 2022 and it was better than we could have imagined!
We met 32 characters, rode everything we wanted, and watched the Dream… and Shine Brighter parade more times than we care to admit. Oh, and we said we’d only see the fireworks twice… but, classic us, we watched them every night. Zero regrets!
Getting There ✈️ & Hotel Review 🏨
- Flew from Manchester (5:55am—ouch!), no drama except a busy border at CDG.
- Took the Magic Shuttle to our hotel—nice and easy.
- Stayed at the B&B Hotel—basic but spotless, continental brekkie did the job.
- Shuttle bus to and from the parks every day.
Top Tip: Getting there was easy… getting back after fireworks? Absolute chaos 😅
Our Disney Game Plan (Or Lack Of!) 🎢
So glad we had five days. No stress, no rushing—just time to soak up the magic.

Favourite Disney Moments & Tips ✨
- Princess Dining 👑: Booked before we left—AMAZING experience.
- Character Dining 🐭: Buffet was great and the characters made it unforgettable.
- Character Breakfast 🍳: 8:15am slot = empty castle photos and loads of characters.
- Food Hacks 🍕🥪: Didn’t book every meal—sometimes grabbed quick bites or made sandwiches from breakfast bits to save money.
- Best Parade Spots 🎉: Get there 30–45 mins early and sit on the kerb on Main Street.
- Meet & Greets 🤩: Found most via the Disney app. Queues usually 30 mins.
- Ride Waits & Fast Track 🚀: Bought Premier Access for the busiest rides.
- Fireworks Strategy 🎆: Watch from different spots for totally different experiences.
- Shows 🎭: Mickey and the Magician = brilliant.
- Souvenir Warning 🛍️: Prepare to spend… worth it though 😂

Final Thoughts & Friendly Advice 📝
- Don’t over-plan—have a rough idea but stay flexible.
- The Disney app is a lifesaver.
- Most of all… soak it all in and enjoy every second.
Now excuse us while we scroll through 1000 photos and wish we could go back tomorrow… 😭🙈
