🏠 Mickey’s House Closed

From today (8 September 2025), the Meet Mickey Mouse attraction in Fantasyland is closed for an extended refurbishment. The virtual queue system for his house has been suspended, and the attraction is now off the map until further notice.

👻 Phantom Mickey (Virtual Queue)

Mickey has moved into Phantom Manor’s gazebo, donning his haunting “Phantom Mickey” outfit. This meet is now on the Virtual Queue system via the Disneyland Paris app.

👉 Top tip: spots go fast, so check the app early in the day if this is high on your list.

🎬 New! Mickey at Studio D (Standby Queue)

To keep meet-and-greet opportunities flowing, Disneyland Paris has also added a brand new Mickey meet at Studio D in Walt Disney Studios Park.

  • This one does not use Virtual Queue — it’s a simple turn up and queue system.

  • Perfect for families who don’t want to stress about grabbing slots in the app.

  • The setting is indoors and less weather-dependent, which is a bonus in autumn and winter.

🍽️ Dining with Mickey

  • Royal Banquet (Disneyland Hotel) – Mickey is always part of the character line-up here.

  • Plaza Gardens Character Breakfast – Mickey sometimes appears (note this dining option also has a planned closure in early 2026).

🎭 Shows & Parades

Even with meet spots changing, you’ll still spot Mickey all over the resort:

⚡ Why This Matters

  • Mickey’s House was the flagship meet location, so its closure is a big shift.

  • The addition of Studio D as a “walk-up meet” shows Disney are trying to balance the Virtual Queue reliance with traditional queues.

  • Seasonal changes are likely: during Halloween and Christmas, Mickey may rotate costumes or swap spots (especially since Jack Skellington usually haunts the Phantom Manor gazebo).

❓ Quick Q&A

Can I still meet Mickey every day?
Yes — between Phantom Manor (Virtual Queue), Studio D (standby), and character dining, he’s still out and about.

What’s the easiest option?
Studio D is best if you don’t want to rely on the app.

Will Mickey’s House return?
Not before 2026 — Disney have not confirmed the exact reopening date.

✨ Final Word

Mickey isn’t gone — he’s just gone mobile. While his Fantasyland house takes a long break, you’ll still find him haunting the Phantom Manor gazebo, chilling in Studio D, waving from parades, or joining you at dinner.

It’s different, but it’s still Mickey magic — just with a few extra steps (and maybe a Virtual Queue tap or two).
