🆕 What’s NEW in 2026 (This Changes Everything!)

2026 is not a “normal” year at Disneyland Paris… and it WILL affect your trip.

Here’s what’s new:

  • ❄️ World of Frozen opens – 29 March 2026
  • 🌍 Walt Disney Studios Park becomes Disney Adventure World
  • 🎆 New nighttime spectacular at Adventure Bay (Cascade of Lights)

Billy’s Tip 💡: Expect BIG crowds around the Frozen opening. If you’re not bothered about being first to see it, avoid late March and April 2026 — it’ll be chaos.

❄️ Visiting for the Frozen opening?
This will be one of the busiest periods of 2026 — book early if you’re planning to go.👉 Check availability around opening dates

🎄 Christmas at Disneyland Paris (7 Nov 2026 – 6 Jan 2027)

If you want peak Disney magic… this is it.

Think:

  • ✨ Main Street covered in lights
  • 🎅 Christmas parades and characters
  • 🎶 Festive music everywhere
  • 🎁 Proper “Disney magic” atmosphere

Best time to go:
👉 Mid-November (festive vibes without peak crowds)

🎄 Planning a Christmas trip?
This is one of the most expensive times to visit — deals sell out early.👉 Check Christmas availability & prices

Busy periods:
👉 Mid-December → New Year (VERY busy)

Billy’s Tip 💡: Early November is the sweet spot. Decorations are up, crowds are manageable, and prices are usually lower.

🎃 Halloween Festival (26 Sept – 1 Nov 2026)

Halloween at Disneyland Paris is more fun than scary — perfect for families.

Expect:

  • 🎃 Pumpkin decorations across the parks
  • 😈 Disney Villains roaming around
  • 👻 Spooky-themed shows and атмосphere

Best time to go:
👉 Early October (great balance)

Busy periods:
👉 Weekends + final week of October (especially Halloween itself)

Billy’s Tip 💡: Avoid the last weekend before Halloween unless you enjoy shoulder-to-shoulder queues.

🌸 Spring & Easter (Late March – April 2026)

Spring usually brings lighter crowds and nicer weather… BUT 2026 is different.

With the Frozen land opening, this period is expected to be extremely busy.

Expect:

  • 🌼 Floral decorations
  • 🐣 Easter-themed treats and characters
  • 📈 BIG crowd spikes due to new attractions

Billy’s Tip 💡: Normally this is a hidden gem time… but in 2026, it’s one of the busiest periods of the year.

☀️ Summer Season (July – August 2026)

Summer is peak season — long days, big crowds, and loads going on.

Expect:

  • ☀️ Extended park hours
  • 🎆 Night-time shows and fireworks
  • 🌍 Visitors from all over Europe

Best for:
👉 Maximum ride time + full entertainment schedule

Downside:
👉 Heat + queues + higher prices

Billy’s Tip 💡: Get in early, take breaks midday, and come back in the evening — that’s how you survive summer here.

🎆 Bonfire Night & Early November

This is a bit of a hidden gem period 👀

Early November sits right between Halloween and Christmas — and sometimes overlaps slightly.

Expect:

  • 🎇 Fireworks around Bonfire Night
  • 🍂 Seasonal crossover decorations
  • 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Lower crowds (before Christmas rush)

Billy’s Tip 💡: This is one of the most underrated times to visit. Great atmosphere without peak chaos.
