Comment on Disney Illuminations at Disneyland Paris by DLP Tips.
I’m really sad to hear of the experience you are having. It sounds grim (probably huge understatement on my part).
I would advise you to get to guest services & ask for a change of room, possibly a quieter room can be found. Also…… Do you have a green pass to enable you into the disability viewing area for fireworks/parades etc? It will also help with queueing for rides, character meets etc.
As for the selfish people in the crowds (& abusive too) i am really saddened to hear of this behaviour.
I’m hoping you have a much MUCH better day tomorrow & guest services can take care of you. Definitely get a green pass though if you don’t already, they make a big difference.
We are not affiliated to Disney so can only offer advice & tips on maximising your stay, but if you need any info etc then feel free to ask. We have been on holidays ourselves which have not been enjoyable (not at Disney thankfully) & it can be a miserable & depressing time. As i said, i hope Guest Services can help you & sprinkle some pixie dust your families’ way.

Visitors with Disabilities
Hi Elaine, so sorry i missed this comment but for future reference you should take a doctors letter dated within 12 months advising of your issues to qualify for an orange card. If the Doctor states it is a permanent condition then you would receive a green card.
Sorry for the late reply.
Yes the Blue badge gets a carers ticket.
Visitors with Disabilities
Disney wheelchairs are only for the parks & are quite basic. There are firms nearby which can rent you a wheelchair (or mobility scooter) which you could use. You can google for recommendations. These firms drop the wheelchairs off at your hotel & pick them up after use.
The Blue badge can get you a disability pass at Town Hall which helps with queueing etc. You can also claim a free ticket per day for someone in your party as a carer. If you have already booked a package then you can claim back a discount.
Princess for a Day Makeover
Unfortunately not, but the 45 minutes isn’t a time limit so to speak. They are very good with the children though & if it takes a little longer then it isn’t a problem. Our daughter was 4 when she had it 1st done & loved it. You could ask at Town Hall if they could accommodate your request as only they could do that.
Internet & Wi-Fi Areas
Yes indeed! I need to update our wifi page as Disney has rolled out free wifi throughout the parks & hotel. It’s strongest in each hotel (nearest reception areas) of course & is known to be slightly patchy in the parks at times (Understandable as it’s such a massive area to cover) but it’s definitely available & can only get even better.
